I checked the e-mail account I used for Christmas the other day and discovered another gift in it!

So this is a special post to thank DustyD for the gift. :) It was much appreciated and will be greatly enjoyed, along with my gift from Breeding Jock.

I got around 3 other e-mails mentioning a gift. If you sent something and aren't either of the guys I just mentioned, I never got it. You might want to contact whatever place I sent you to and try to get your money back...

Word Count

(Note: I've now retired from writing this blog. See my "Farewell" post for more information. At this time there will be no further regular posts.)

I came across a tool that counts all the words on a web page, so I thought I would make a little post about the result.

I displayed all of my posts on one page and entered the URL. The result? 105,000 words, after adjusting for extra stuff like my blog link list and formatting.

What's 105,000 words? I did a little research and found out that it's a 400 page book.

So if you start this blog from the beginning and read it to the end, it must make one very interesting novel! ;-)

Kind of makes me wish I'd been writing a real novel all along. I never thought I could write so much on one topic..

That's all guys, I just thought you might find it interesting. I know I did! Less than a year and 105,000 words...

Thank you all for the huge number of comments and e-mail messages you've sent since I posted my farewell.

I read some of them and skimmed others, but most of the messages are actually quite long, so I haven't actually sat down and tried to go through them yet. I will get there and probably respond to you sometime soon.

Hey, maybe even tonight if I get bored enough!

Just so you know, I'm not sick, in any kind of trouble, or having financial issues. My reasons for ending my blog and my lifestyle as it was for a long time are entirely internal and emotional.

So once again, thank you for taking the time...especially those of you who had a whole lot to say. Sorry for the delay, but I want to give your messages the time I think they deserve.
