Moved!

I can't tell you where, but let's just say I'm all settled in. School will be starting soon and I'll be back to hitting the books all the time.

But yes, there are plenty of hot boys. Plenty.

On a serious note, it cost me $2500 to get here after moving my stuff, staying in hotel rooms, and flying around the country. I also had to eat and do that sort of stuff. Keep in mind that I'm 100% independent and entirely on my own. I've basically had no parental support since I turned 18.

I have raised a total of $0 to cover those costs...which means all $2500 is sitting on my credit cards right now. And I still have to spend a fortune on upper level course books! If anyone wants to help me out (and you know I've helped you out many, many times, right? ;-) ), please send me an e-mail. I will certainly appreciate it.

I'll update my post if the situation changes.

From my new home, good night!

Update: Thanks to my special friend Jay, I've made a little dent in my bills. Thank you Jay! :) Anyone else who wants to contribute something can send me an e-mail...it will be very much appreciated.

  5. My ass has a job, and I just graduated, and you're telling me you can't do it?

  6. School takes up more than 50 hours of my week now. I'm not sure when you all are expecting me to work. :-P

And even if I could find a job and work 15 hours a week or whatever, my program forbids me to work. So if the school found out I would get called down to have a little chat with the dean.

    Fuck off bitches.

  7. School NEVER takes that long. It's impossible for you to spend that much time at school doing whatever. 50 hours a week? I'll give you credit that maybe your classes would take up some time. So let's say you're taking a load and a half, 6 classes. And each one of them is 2 hours. That's 12 hours, are you telling me that you spend 38 hours, almost three times as much time in class doing homework and studying?? You aren't managing your time well enough. I have an MBA and I've NEVER heard of a program not allowing you go to work as long as you keep your grades up. Sounds folly to me Mister.

  8. Wow, that was incredibly ignorant. You must not have ever known a med student...they spend way more than 50 hours a week on school. I know people who are in class all day, come home and study/do home work for 4 hours, have an hour or two to themselves, and then go to bed.

I'm not a med student, but there are plenty of other intense grad programs. An MBA isn't one of them. If you're going on your MBA experience you have no room to talk.

As to not being allowed to work, once again, go ask a med student. They generally aren't allowed to work either. The same goes for a lot of other intense programs.

Me specifically... you got it almost exactly, I counted and I'm stuck on the campus for almost 38 hours a week. I'm not in class that much time, but I can't go anywhere. I use the rest of the time to do homework. Then I come home and typically have more work to do.

    Go get a real deg

  9. Go get a real degree and you might understand. What do you make with your MBA? $75,000? I'm really impressed.

    Fuck off.

  10. Wow kiddo, such anger, You cannot even state what your program is. So I'm not too worried about having this discussion with you. If you wanted a job you'd get one. There are PLENTY of things you can do from home, or part time. QUIT ASKING PEOPLE to buy you shit because you're too lazy to get off your ass and get a job. I did it, millions of people have done it, and millions more after me will do it, but you can't?? THAT, makes me really impressed with you. And funny with your comment on $75,000. It ain't about the money buddy, it's about how much joy I get out of my job. If you're going into your field for the money, you're wasting your time and your life. Good luck to ya buddy.

  11. Perhaps some of these people haven't been in school for a while or perhaps my experience is different, but I'm getting my BS in Biochemistry, and my school experience is similar to rawcollegejockslut. My teachers explain at the beginning of each semester, that we are to spend at least 3 hours studying outside of class for every 1 hour of lecture, if we want to do well. The caveat that the professors emphasize is that those hours of studying have to be during the week. They say they want us to have fun on the weekends. Anyway, when you're taking 4 classes that have 3 hr/wk of lecture you're at 48 hrs/week of lecture and studying, and that figure doesn't even include labs. I can only imagine that a graduate or professional program is much worse.

  15. Guys, the reason he hasn't posted in so long (not mention why some stuff doesn't add up) is because Breeding Jock has his own blog and is too busy to write both (and whatever other blogs he also writes). I wish this blog was real, it would be so hot!

  16. While Breeding Jock may be very talented, I wrote this blog and I am not Breeding Jock.

Though it is a novel theory. I haven't heard that one before!
